Want cotton candy? Want it for breakfast? Don’t want the sugar crash after said breakfast? If you answered yes to these questions, then do I have the recipe for you! Cotton Candy Grape Shake!
This creamy, plant based shake may be thick enough to be eaten like ice cream, but tastes like another dessert: cotton candy! It gets its iconic fair food flavor naturally from cotton candy grapes. If you’ve never had a cotton candy grape before, you’re going to need to book it to the store immediately because, first of all, they taste like cotton candy, second, their season lasts a total of five minutes. Blink and you’ll miss it. You can usually find them in stores like Trader Joes and Whole Foods from April through July.
Take one bite of these green grapes and you’ll be amazed at how similar these fruits taste to cotton candy. You’ll also be amazed at how great they are in this recipe and how easy it is to make. All you need to do is wash and freeze a batch of cotton candy grapes, toss them in a food processor with a handful of other ingredients, and you’ll have a satisfying, healthy dessert that screams summer like a kid on a roller coaster.
